Day 1   Drive to the hotel in Bologna. Check-in. This afternoon you will enter a guided cultural tour of the town that focuses on food aspects. During the tour you’ll stop at some traditional food shops and taste our local products, learning their legends, stories and jokes.

Walking round the medieval market we can taste mortadella, ciccioli, salsiccia passita, chocolate, etc.). All the different tastings will make your lunch!

To follow: demonstration from the traditional pasta-makers, the "sfogline" of Bologna. With skill and patience, these ladies with their magic touch will teach the curious visitor the secrets of making and rolling out the pasta. In a kind of magic: tortellini, tagliatelle and lasagne will appear.

Day 2   Drive to Modena Golf Club to play your first round of golf. In the afternoon, reach the nearby FERRARI where you will visit the Museum

Day 3   Today will be entirely dedicated to the motors: you will visit first in the morning the LAMBORGHINI, both the factory and the museum; in the afternoon, you will move to PAGANI AUTOMOBILI where, also here, you will visit the factory and the museum.

Tonight you will experience a tour: the discovery of the ancient taverns of Bologna. A lovely walk through the ancient pubs in the historical city centre. The presence of university students has helped the opening of this kind of "shops" since the XIIIth Century and also today, among the narrow streets of the medieval town, some XIVth Century pubs are still very crowded. This kind of reality didn't change during the centuries and today, like ever, Bologna night life is peculiar for its vivacity and innovation. It is a pleasant walk during the late afternoon and evening to taste better the most typical Bologna atmosphere, where you’ll visit different locations with a tasting in each one…

Day 4  Drive to Bologna Golf Club for your second round of golf. In the afternoon you will move to the DUCATI where your will visit the factory and the museum

Day 5  Full-day gastronomic tour. You must be by 08:45AM in Parma to start your live food experience. The first visit will be an authentic cheese dairy of Parmigiano-Reggiano with tasting. Discover how "the King of all cheeses" is made in the same way since centuries ago like the Monks who invented it. You'll see first hand the "making of" it, the salt pools and the "wheel cathedrals", real walls of cheese up to 20.000 in the same place!

After the cheese, you will visit a plant where the worldwide famous "Prosciutto di Parma" ham is produced. Discover why the best ham can be made only in the hills of Parma where the "Marino" wind blows from the Ligurian Sea trough the "Food Valley".
A pictures' stop will be made at the medieval village of Torrechiara dominated by its romantic castle. For sure the most spectacular amidst the Castles of the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza and Northern Italy. Dating back to 1448 DC, built by Sir Pier Maria Rossi for his lover Bianca Pellegrini. This castle is also famous because of the movie "Ladyhawke"

For lunch: rich tasting* of typical products in a fascinating cellar of DOC wines “Colli di Parma”. You'll taste Prosciutto di Parma and many more other kind of cold cuts, Parmigiano-Reggiano, a typical filled pasta dish, handmade cakes, all combined with the different wines produced by the winery like Lambrusco, Malvasia and more.

In the afternoon, transfer to the Province of Reggio-Emilia or Modena to admire a real “Acetaia” with its barrels of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar. You'll learn the difference between the "real thing" and the balsamic condiments that you usually find in the supermarkets. Tasting session at the end of the visit.

Back to Bologna late in the afternoon

Emilia Romagna lies between the River Po to its north and the Apennine Mountains (to its south). It is one of the most fertile and productive regions of Italy, thanks to the mitigating effect that the Adriatic Sea has on the coastal climate.

The diversity between the mountains and sea offers visitors to Emilia Romagna breathtaking views, in addition to beauty for both the eyes and spirit, with a mixture of the earthy colors, the aromas and the fresh sea air. Not to mention that Emilia Romagna is a hotbed for music, cinema and art appreciated nationally and internationally.

Many who love the combination of sun, sea and entertainment choose the Romagna RivieraIt possesses the longest beach in Europe, and is where visitors flock to enjoy its sport offerings and leisure facilities. Towns such as RiminiRiccione and Cattolica are highly-outfitted for touristic reception, emphasizing relaxation and fun.

Further from the coast, the beautiful landscape of the Apennines, for instance, makes the region ideal for horseback riding or trekking in the area between Parma and Piacenza. Make a visit to the splendid parks and wonderful nature reserves.

The hinterland features several wellness spas like Salsomaggiore and Bagno di Romagna, due to its many types of water springs, as well as modern facilities and technology.

Both culinary and artistic methods found themselves on the fertile soil of this land, and their roots run deep.

This is the land of Verdi’s novels and Giovanni Pascoli’s poetry, as well as Fellini’s unmistakable cinema - a director who became a legend through his many masterpieces that come to life in this, his native region. In Emilia Romagna, one can enjoy amazing views anywhere, and the list of places to choose from is endless.

Emilia Romagna sits on the border with the third-smallest country in Europe, the Republic of San Marino.

The provinces of the region are: Bologna (the region's capital), FerraraForli-CesenaModenaParmaPiacenza, RavennaReggio Emilia, and Rimini

The territory of Bologna Province is beautiful and varied.
A topography that spreads over the plain of Po River Valley, along the Reno and the Panaro Rivers, in the hills and in the mountains, along the backbones of the Santerno and Senio Rivers to the east, and glides past the Dardagna in the west.

Numerous are the plains, hills and highlands that surround and compose the Bolognese Apennines and its highest peak, the Corno delle Scale, reaching an altitude of 6,562 feet.
The Province boasts a great number of naturalistic areas, such as the Park of Bolognese Gypsum and Badlands of Abbadessa, the Park of the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes, the Abbey of Monteveglio Regional Park, and more.

Bologna and its environs offer landscapes and nature, of course, but also art and culture. Cultural tourism is highly-emphasized and widespread, with particular attention paid to the visitor’s needs and to increasingly improving the grand heritage of the Province and its Capital.
